Learning System Policy
Kaplan CPA Review’s 24 Month Access and Free Updates:
Candidates who purchase our Kaplan CPA Review Learning Systems are provided with Online Access, including all online updates, for a full 24 months from time of initial purchase. In addition to the 24 month Online Access updates, the purchase of our Learning System includes one updated copy of the Practice Manual at no charge during the 24 month active subscription, available upon request. Requests for updated publications may be made by contacting Kaplan CPA Review at
1-800-CPA-2DAY.
  • Only one update per section during the subscription period.
  • Applicable shipping and handling (S&H) charges will apply.
  • Our extended 24 month subscription period is applicable to programs purchased since August 15, 2006; prior to that date, 18 month access was included with all programs purchased.
  • Following the expiration of the 18 or 24 month subscription period for each section, customers may purchase a new Learning System which includes all components and online access for 24 months, at 50% discount on the current retail price. New purchase must be for the same section as original purchase.
Kaplan CPA Review's Risk-Free Assurance:
With our 30-Day Risk-Free Assurance policy, you can feel confident that you've made the right choice when purchasing our Kaplan CPA Review Learning System. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we'll refund 100% of your purchase price.
  • Returns for refunds/credits will only be accepted within 30 days of the date you receive your order. We are unable to extend credits or issue refunds for materials returned beyond that timeframe.
  • Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the materials, less any S&H.
  • Our 30-Day Risk-Free Assurance only applies to our Kaplan CPA Review Learning Systems and is applicable to one purchase per customer.
  • You must contact our customer service department via phone, fax or email to obtain a return authorization number.
  • Online Access will be terminated immediately upon issuance of the return authorization number.
  • All materials must be returned, prepaid by certified mail or an alternative traceable method, in their original, like-new condition with original Packing Slip included.
  • No returns will be accepted of materials which have been altered in any manner.
  • No refunds will be issued for partial returns.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 45 business days.

CPA Exam Online Review Course Policy

Customers who enroll in our CPA Exam Online Review Course will also be provided with Online Access, including all online updates, for a full 24 months from time of initial purchase. In addition to the 24 month Online Access updates, enrollment in our Online Review Course includes the one updated copy of the Practice Manual at no charge during the 24 month active subscription as detailed in our 24 month Access and Free Update policy above.

Archives of the class sessions will be available through both the end of the current open window, plus one additional testing window as follows:

  • Archives for the classes beginning in September will be available until February 28th.
  • Archives for the classes beginning in December will be available until May 31st.
  • Archives for the classes beginning in March will be available until August 31st.
  • Archives for the classes beginning in June will be available until November 30th.

Previous participants in our Online Review Course may re-enroll in our subsequent Online Review Courses for the same section(s) during their active subscription period for an additional charge of $100.

Customers who have purchased our Kaplan CPA Review Learning Systems or have been enrolled in our In-Class Programs in New York City are eligible to enroll in our Online Review Course for the same section(s) during their active subscription period for an additional charge of $170.

For a period of one year following the expiration of their active subscription, customers may re-enroll in the same section(s) of the Online Review Course at a 50% discount on the current retail registration fee, which includes a new set of our Learning System components and Online Access.

CPA Online Review Course cancellation requests must be received in writing (via email or fax) by the next business day following the first class. Individuals that have pre-registered and wish to cancel after the first class will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. All study materials received must be returned in like-new and resalable condition within one week of the cancellation request. All associated shipping costs are non-refundable.

In-Class Program Refund Policy

Customers who enroll in our In-Class Programs will also be provided with Online Access, including all online updates, for a full 24 months from time of initial purchase. In addition to the 24 month Online Access updates, enrollment in our classes includes the one updated copy of the Practice Manual at no charge during the 24 month active subscription as detailed in our 24 month Access and Free Update policy above.

Customers who have purchased our Kaplan CPA Review Learning System are eligible to enroll in our In-Class Program for the same section(s) within 30 days of the date of delivery of their Learning System for an additional charge of $170.

Customers who have previously been enrolled in our In-Class Programs may re-enroll in the same section(s) during their active subscription period for $170. For a period of one year following the expiration of their active subscription, customers may re-enroll in the same section(s) of the In-Class Programs at a 50% discount on the current retail registration fee, which includes a new set of our Learning System components and online access.

In-Class Program cancellation requests must be received in writing (via email or fax) by the next business day following the first class. Individuals that have pre-registered and wish to cancel after the first class will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Individual Products

Returns of individual product purchases (books, audio cds, and flashcards) will be accepted within 14 days of the date you receive your order. The materials must be returned in original, like-new condition and in the original packaging and/or shrink-wrap in order to be considered for a refund.

  • You must contact our customer service department via phone, fax or email to obtain a return authorization number.
